路透28日報道，拜登總統表示，俄羅斯總統普京已經變成世界各地的「賤民」（pariah），但很難說他是否因為最近的普里格津兵變事件而受到削弱。
根據報道與CSPAN公佈的影片，拜登動身踏上芝加哥之旅前，在白宮接受記者堵訪，一位記者提問「最近的事件在多大程度上削弱了普京？」。
對此，拜登答稱，「這很難說，但他顯然正在輸掉伊拉克的戰爭，他正輸掉在國內的戰爭，他已經變得有點像世界各地的賤民」。
