挺川群眾6日衝進國會山莊後，川普私人律師朱利安尼稱「暴力該譴責」，但抗議者實有正當理由。
朱利安尼在推特發文說，「我們的目標在追求誠實的投票，終結選舉舞弊，以免選舉變成戰術，往後權貴、專挺民主黨的媒體一再使用。」
朱利安尼指責左派抗議者設法挑釁挺川群眾，才叫群眾不得不起義，造成五人死亡憾事；他寫說，「反法西斯主義運動」(Antifa)參與其間，不容卸責。
